About this day tour:
There is so much on offer in this region that it is impossible to just set out one standard itinerary.  For our Mornington Peninsula family-friendly tour, there are a few must do’s (in our opinion!) that we need to hit on this day tour; such as a family-friendly winery or two and a play on one of the fabulous beaches. However there is also a great deal of flexibility on these tours to get what you want out of your time on the Peninsula.

What a destination this is! Get in touch and we can build an itinerary that works for you.

Here is what our guests have to say about taking a family tour of the Mornington Peninsula:

I was drawn to book the tours by the great descriptions on the website and they were really spot on. James took us and our two children (ages 10 and 6) on two trips.

The first tour was down the Great Ocean Road, which could be boring for kids, but James had our two eating out of his hand very quickly!! The usual stunning sights were all covered, but it was the extras that made the difference – seeing wild kangaroos, koalas, kookaburras, a wander round the rainforest and some beach time. The other highlight was the comfy minivan so we could all snooze on the way back to Melbourne!

The second bespoke tour was down the Mornington Peninsula for wildlife and food. Unfortunately the dolphin sighting boat company cancelled at the last minute, but James had lots of alternatives suggestions and we had a superb day picking (and eating!) lots of strawberries, exploring the maze, fairy hunting, feeding kangaroos, cuddling koalas, going to a honey farm and the most amazing lunch.

During our Australia trip we’ve done a few other sightseeing coach trips (with 40+ on a bus) and these haven’t been a patch on those we went with James. The ability to plan the day around your wishes and being accompanied by James, who is so knowledgeable and friendly, is well worth paying that bit extra. My daughter says she’s coming back to Australia just to go on another trip with James!!

James, a dedicated family man himself, knew just what frazzled parents of a toddler and baby needed: peace! He provided an iPad full of cartoons for our three year old, baby toys for our seven month old and lots and lots of books and distractions along the way. We got to eat in peace, wine taste in peace and ride in peace. His tour was tailored to what we wanted and he had the rare quality of listening more than talking. James is a peach and we can’t recommend him enough! What a bargain… if you’ve got kids, Just Do It!
